Northern Maine

Back in 1987 I was a rancher on a 2000 acre farm in southeastern Georgia that had 40 head of registered Black Angus, 30 registered Santa Gertrudis cattle, 250 Suffolk ewes, 125 lambs, 2 Suffolk rams, a Jenny Mammoth Donkey and a mixed flock of twenty bantam chickens. For over 14 years I managed a small masonry yard in Massachusetts. Today at age 52 I have a small farm in Northern Maine in a town whose population is barely 400. I believe in organic farming, improving the soil and giving back to the community. I understand small business. I enjoy small communities and the closeness of the townsfolk. I am a proud Mom who loves my children and grandchildren. With all that being said, I must admit I have a New Englander’s dry sense of humor. To quote Dr. Seuss: From here to there and there to here, funny things are everywhere.
