I am a Digital Transformation Officer at the Chilean Council of Innovation for Development.

Before, I worked at the World Bank as a Communications Officer of the Solutions for Youth Employment Coalition (S4YE) founded by Accenture, International Labour Organization (ILO), International Youth Foundation (IYF), Plan International, RAND Corporation, the World Bank Group, and Youth Business International (YBI).

I also served at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) leading the digital communications strategy and digital marketing strategy of www.ConnectAmericas.com, the premier online community of companies in Latin America and the Caribbean dedicated to international trade and investment. ConnectAmericas is a project of the IDB in collaboration with Google, Visa, DHL, and Alibaba.com.

I studied my master's degree at New York University, researching how to connect public and private institutions with citizens through new media, not just broadcasting information but creating conversation and exploring collaborative initiatives.

Prior to this, I was the head of Digital Media at CORFO, the Chilean Economic Development Agency, where I was responsible for digital communication strategies and community management guidelines.

I maintain my blog www.Paloma.cl and my video-blog PalomaTV on YouTube, on which I discuss the uses of new technology, and interview prominent figures from the social media world. More than 60,000 people follow my Twitter account: @Paloma.
