Pamela Wood Browne

Community building has been a common thread throughout my work in digital content creation and nonprofit communications. I enjoy exploring the ways the Internet and emerging technologies provide opportunities to increase engagement for both online and local communities.

I became involved in the Upstate tech community through the WordPress user group and started learning to code through the growing self-paced resources. Finding few other women at local user group meetings, I launched Women Who Code Greenville and work to bring more women along with me as I pursue a career in technology. I love navigating the nexus between coding, community and entrepreneurship and I'm especially passionate about improving user experience.
