In typical Sagittarian fashion I have had a few careers and generally do two or three of them at once….

I have been an astrologer for over 40 years, approaching its multiple layers as a language for understanding who we are, what makes us tick, and the conditions in the world around us. As someone who has always been passionately engaged with social change I look at politics astrologically and look at astrology politically.

In my 20’s in New York City I had the good fortune to meet astrologer Gary Christen and apprentice with him for a number of years. He was breaking new ground in putting Uranian astrology on the map. Uranian astrology was developed by German homeopath Alfred Witte in the 1920s; it is a very homeopathic approach to astrology, taking into account the whole – all of who we are, our environment, and the larger context. Of course I loved it.

Over the years I have crafted my own approach which combines Uranian and western astrology. I use astrology to help guide people through life changes and world-rocking transformations.

After spending many many years working in social change organizations, I obtained my Masters in homeopathy in 2006, studying under the tutelage of Louis Klein. I also have a Masters in Social Work from the City University of New York.

Because of my background, I bring to my homeopathy practice an understanding of the ways that social conditions affect our health.

I am very active in the field of homeopathy. I have published articles in Interhomeopathy and Homeopathic Links: An International Journal for Classical Homeopathy, and am active in researching and developing new homeopathic remedies with a group of colleagues (www.greatlakesprovings.com/). In addition to studying with Louis Klein, I have also studied with Jan Scholten.

I live in Akron, Ohio and mainly practice in Akron, Buffalo, New York City, Boston, and southern Maine. I travel to New York monthly. Thanks to webcams I see clients all over the US and in several other countries.

I now feel honored to be able to combine astrology and homeopathy, in the footsteps of Alfred Witte and Samuel Hahnemann in my own wee small way.
