PATRICK CARELSZ

Born in Zwolle, the Netherlands, I was keen on visual arts since I was a kid. Starting with painting and drawing I gained more and more interest in visual storytelling.
I graduated from INHolland University of Applied Science and worked for several years as production manager and junior producer at Corrino Media Group. While witnessing film and commercial shoots I grew more attached to creating rather than producing. Therefore I enrolled into Prague Film School and graduated in 2011 with majors in screenwriting, directing and editing.
Nowadays I work as a screenwriter and director of commercials, music videos and short films at Tree Film Productions creative video studio as well as a indepedent freelancer. I am deeply interested in historical subjects, original storylines and visual aesthetics.I also aim to shoot a full-length feature film in the nearest five years.
