Dr. Patrick S. Chang

After graduating from the University of California, with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Dr. Patrick S. Chang matriculated at the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. He garnered his M.D. in 1992 and subsequently obtained numerous roles in the field that augmented his skill set. Dr. Chang first undertook an internship with Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. After a year at the 449-bed hospital, Dr. Chang went on to complete a residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, a string of affiliated hospitals comprising the largest trauma facility in the state of Oregon. He then accepted a fellowship at the Oregon Health Science University in Portland, a dynamic institution dedicated to treatment as well as research. In 1995, Dr. Patrick S. Chang obtained board certification in internal medicine and founded Palo Verde Clinic PLLC in Chandler, Arizona. His dedication to patients consistently earns Dr. Chang awards, including “Top Doc” in internal medicine from Phoenix Magazine in 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2008.

Committed to improving the practice of medicine, Dr. Patrick S. Chang holds affiliation with the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians; he also served on the Board of Directors of the Arizona State Physicians Association. Dr. Chang also contributed his skills as an administrator to Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona, holding posts including Chair of the Contract Committee, Chair of the Internal Medicine Department, and Chair of the Contract Subcommittee. Today, Dr. Patrick S. Chang supervises his practice and acts as a Proctor to students of the University of Phoenix.
