Hurricane, UT

I'm the Utah State University Extension Professor to Washington County, Utah.

I teach leadership and STEM through experience to ambitious youth in 4-H. I'm passionate about motivating youth to learn technology skills in robotics and programming. I've brought the Maker Movement, FIRST LEGO League, and TEDx to Southern Utah. With a tremendous committee, I help organize Code Camp each year at Dixie State University.

My work with 4-H youth has brought me to the White House.

I started the eXtension Educational Technology Learning Network and studied the Maker Movement as an eXtension Fellow.

I'm a writer. Some of my peer-reviewed journal articles can be found in the Journal of Extension.

In my free time I can be found canyoneering through the most beautiful slot canyons in the world, mountain biking on Gooseberry Mesa, or practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

I live in Hurricane, Utah with my wife and three sons.
