Paul Kudlow, MD, PhD

Paul Kudlow is an entrepreneur, investor, physician, and scientist who specializes in bringing health information-technology ventures to market. He co-founded North South Ventures, a cross-border venture capital fund that invests in early stage medical companies. Previously, he co-founded TrendMD, the largest native advertising platform for academic research. In 2019, after growing the company to profitability and 150 million unique visitors per month, Paul sold his equity stake and stepped down as CEO to serve as an advisor. He earned his PhD for research that has advanced the fields of bibliometrics, knowledge dissemination, and scholarly communication from the Institute of Medical Sciences at the University of Toronto.

Paul is a Clinician-Teacher at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Canada. He is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto's Temerty Faculty of Medicine. Paul's clinical practice focuses on providing inpatient psychiatric care and interventional psychiatric treatments.
