Dr. Paula Jo Colescott

Possessing over three decades of academic and clinical experience in the field of medicine, Dr. Paula Jo Colescott has maintained ties with a number of professional organizations throughout her career. These include the American Fascial Distortion Model Association, the American College of Internal Medicine, the Alaska State Medical Association, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Additionally, as an active contributor to her field, Dr. Paula Jo Colescott has been asked to deliver remarks and present updates in her field, as well as training in addiction for entities such as the University of Alaska Anchorage and the Family Medicine Residency Program in Anchorage. At this time, she works part-time at Alaska-based Providence Breakthrough and holds certification in addiction medicine and internal medicine.

In addition to treating patients and conducting research, Dr. Colescott devotes time and energy to a number of philanthropic and civic-minded endeavors. Among these, she supports Hiland Mountain Correctional Center in its Genesis Process initiative in coordination with New Hope House.
