Paul Anthony Drury

Action at the intersection of art and advertising: I work across digital storytelling, cross-platform production, social media and old-fashioned publicity - telling stories and selling stories.

Working with the best companies and most talented people across big-name brands & grass-roots culture; I devise and implement strategies, productions and creative campaigns to create maximum media impact and connect content to diverse audiences.

Storytelling is at the heart of what I do each and every day. Digital, social media and cross-platform collaborations play their part alongside strategic brand partnerships - although I will always remain a firm believer in the power of the live experience.

I trained as a journalist, and began my career with four-years working in newspapers in the North of England. Between 2007 and 2011 I worked for Cult.Brand / Idea Generation for clients including Stella Artois, Vauxhall, Absolut and Beck's. Across culture I led campaigns in theatre (for The Royal Shakespeare Company, Punchdrunk and from the Edinburgh Fringe), in film (for Paramount, Cinemoi and from the Cannes film festival), in television and in digital (in large-scale social media campaigns, for Coney, and for Mudlark on the award-winning Such Tweet Sorrow transmedia project).

After this, I spent almost a year at the UK's biggest film and culture PR agency Premier and some time at FIVE33 working on tentpole film releases for Hollywood studios.

I've also worked on projects in Moscow and Delhi, as part of my fellowship for the British Council. I'm part of the Courvoisier Future 500 network of thought-leaders and I'm also an occasional blogger for The Huffington Post and Sabotage Times.
