Action at the intersection of art and advertising: I work across PR, strategic partnerships, digital storytelling, content creation, cross-platform production, social media, experiential and old-fashioned publicity: telling stories and selling stories. I am passionate about making things happen - focused on culture, communications & entrepreneurship.

Since 2013 I've worked as a Culture Editor for Unity, developing brand love through human-focused PR campaigns. I mostly work across youth culture, social enterprise and big campaigning projects.

I trained as a journalist, and spent four-years working in newspapers in the North of England. Between 2007 and 2011 I worked for Cult.Brand / Idea Generation for clients including Stella Artois, Vauxhall, Absolut and Beck's. Across culture I led campaigns in theatre (for The Royal Shakespeare Company, Punchdrunk and from the Edinburgh Fringe), in film (for Paramount, Cinemoi and from the Cannes film festival), in television and worked on digital productions (in large-scale social media campaigns, for Coney, and for Mudlark on the award-winning Such Tweet Sorrow transmedia project).

After this, I spent a year at the UK's biggest film and culture PR agency Premier, some time at FIVE33 working on marketing strategy guides film releases for Hollywood studios, and freelanced for a variety of film festivals and magazines.

I've also worked on creative projects in Moscow and Delhi, as part of my fellowship for the British Council. I'm part of the Courvoisier Future 500 network of thought-leaders and recently became a fellow at The Royal Society of Arts.

I still love to write, and am an occasional blogger for The Huffington Post, Buzzfeed and Sabotage Times.
