Named a 2023 Top Lobbyist by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics, Paul Klein is a government relations and public affairs expert that helps clients, candidates, and causes navigate the intersection of press, politics, and policy.

Some of Klein's highlights include helping pass the most comprehensive insurance reforms in the country, achieve a record-high pay increase for state police officers, pass Nevada’s Down Syndrome Information Act, and allocate millions in transportation funds for public charter schools. As an advocate for the American Advertising Federation, Klein went before Congress and successfully helped preserve the advertising deduction.

Prior to joining TriStrat, Klein was partnered at public affairs firm Argentum Partners, creative director for national advertising agency White Rabbit, communications and public information officer for City of Reno government, and owner/creative director of Klein Advertising.

Klein studied criminal justice and law as an undergraduate at the University of Nevada and went on to earn an MBA in 2014. Klein served as a City of Reno Commissioner from 2007 to 2011. He chaired the 2017 Heart Gala for the American Heart Association and volunteers for the Red Cross. Since 2005, Klein has served as a board member for the American Advertising Federation and currently is the Western Region Chair, and holds that organization's ethics in advertising certification. Klein is also a board member of the Reno Aquatic Club.

Klein's advertising and political campaigns have won dozens of Addys, Savvys, Aces, Marcoms, Hermes, and Emmys. He was honored in 2010 as a Twenty Under 40 Award recipient and University of Nevada Young Alumnus of the Year.

Klein is also an adjunct professor at the University of Nevada, teaching leadership, innovation, and managing creative teams. In 2023, he was awarded the 'Exceptional Letter of Appointment Award".
