Chris Perry has worked in the amusement / hospitality industry his entire life. From humble beginnings as a toilet cleaner at a suburban Chicago pool his father managed, to overseeing a world class waterpark with 800 employees from 45 nationalities to being the CEO of a consultancy and management company that assisted owners and investors with their waterparks and mixed use developments throughout Southeast Asia and the Middle East, to leading a new vertical of business for a Fortune 500 company opening and operating Private Destinations around the world for Royal Caribbean. Chris understands all sides of a business and what it takes to make them succeed at the highest levels.
Chris’s diversified experience in operations, executive leadership and management consulting have provided him with a unique skill set to connect with all levels of leadership. Chris has an MBA from London Business School, a 20-year international career, an innate ability to listen and quickly grasp business needs and has led teams of 1,000+ from over 45 Nationalities. Chris's real passion is based around helping people improve. His teams have won international awards for safety, customer service, training and quality. Helping others to have fun and be successful are the motivating factors...not only at work. He is an active volunteer in the amusement industry, has coached high school wrestling for the past 25 years (was the founder of the first Middle and High School wrestling team in Thailand) and has been heavily involved in volunteer organizations that provide amusement opportunities for disabled children and adults.
Chris is a regular emcee for conferences/events, speaks at industry trade shows and is the occasional elementary school presenter. Chris has traveled to all 50 States, 45+ countries (and counting) and has lived in 6 countries. Chris married his college sweetheart, Lisa, and they have 2 children, Noah (2004) and Ella (2007).
