I head up the New Technologies Team at Studio Liddell.

My role is wide and varied but my focus is always on designing and developing the best bespoke, often innovative, software solutions for clients and IPs/Brands which deliver on brief and always at the highest quality possible.

I have over twenty two years experience in developing software, games, simulations and applications in a professional capacity.

I am responsible for developing new and innovative software solutions, investigating new revenue streams, researching and developing new approaches and adding a digital 'breadth' to Studio Liddell's already highly acclaimed and respected 3D animation studio.

Some of my time is spent developing and evolving the New Technology Team's capabilities. New technology develops at a truly incredible pace and to be at the 'bleeding edge' we have to maintain our awareness of new technologies and explore their uses.

My strengths include specialist knowledge and experience in designing and developing for a younger audience, particularly 'pre-school'. I have worked on Nintendo Wii game designs for "Roary The Racing Car' and 'Fifi and the Flowertots' and researched and designed new online world concepts for a major broadcaster.

I also have extensive experience in touchscreen exhibition projects, serious games, visitor centre/museum interactive solutions, and interactive real-time 3D simulations.

On occasions my role extends to lecturing at Salford University and providing staff training for Priestley College, Warrington and delivering live briefs to students.

On a day to day basis I can be designing gameplay and game structure, developing ideas for IPs and Brands, researching methods and approaches other experts are expounding, programming, writing, shooting or editing video, investigating new technologies, advising clients or staff, releasing iPad/iPhone games, meeting Directors to discuss current and future plans, producing work on our current slate, listening and thinking.
