Peter Bell
An accomplished senior executive with an extensive global business background focusing on General Management & Sales development in more than 50 countries, coupled with strong marketing skills too. He is creative, energetic, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, logical and decisive. He has a strong personal presence, is a strong negotiator, a powerful communicator and is very comfortable in a public speaking role to any audience, including on camera presentation for training videos or live TV.
Initially commencing his working career in a laboratory and scientific environment as an industrial chemist, he then moved through various technical roles with an increasing focus on customer service and territory management. The progression of his career took him through a period of conventional product marketing management; then in to regional sales and customer service with promotion to National and International sales, marketing and general management roles and duties at board level, including the successful implementation of an IPO in the USA. This has given him the ability to relate well to both blue and white collar environments.
He embraces a "hands on flexible business approach", is a good mentor, team leader, and trainer and has the innate ability to be highly productive in a position calling for high degrees of travel. He enjoys and thrives in an environment creating the opportunity for rapid business development with an innovative and flexible style. The scientific back ground gives him the ability to be highly analytical if required.
The first 15 years of his career was focused on Australian business with responsibilities for New Zealand and progressing to more senior International roles encompassing Asia, Europe and North and South America.
Extensive sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, General management, mentoring, controlling, logistics and reporting experience; as well as being able to quickly assimilate new sales communications and customer service technologies are all part of his technical competencies, coupled with highly developed computer and social media skills.
He is very used to reporting to International superiors and completely understands deadlines, timing and a sense of urgency.
He has a degree in Industrial Chemistry, is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and resides in Sydney, with a dedicated home office environment available.
