About Peter Gasca

Peter Gasca is the co-founder and CEO of Wild Creations, a national toy developer located in Myrtle Beach, SC. Wild Creations was recognized by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce as the #1 fastest growing company in South Carolina in 2010, and by the Inc 500/5000 twice as one of the fastest growing US small business. The company has received over 40 industry awards, including a nomination for Toy of the Year by the Toy Industry Association. For his accomplishments at Wild Creations, Peter was a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year for the Carolinas by Ernst and Young in 2011.

Prior to founding Wild Creations, Peter worked as an economic and small business development consultant for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), serving three years in the former Soviet Republics of Central Asia. Prior to this, he had a long and successful career in real estate development, working with Phoenix-based Standard Pacific Homes as its Director of Purchasing, going on to be part of the management that led the company to become one of the largest residential homebuilders in Arizona.

Peter received his MBA, with a focus in Finance and Business Strategy, from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and his BS in Construction Management from the Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. He currently serves as Executive in Residence and Associate Professor of Business for the Wall School of Business at Coastal Carolina University and serves on the boards for Junior Achievement of Coastal Carolina, Each 1 Teach 1, and the Small Business Council for the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce.

He is the co-author One Million Frogs, a book about his business and life experience at Wild Creations, and contributes regularly to Inc.com and Entrepreneur.com.
