Timothy Peterson is an award-winning marketing executive who has worked in nearly every aspect of the multichannel business-to-consumer space. He is truly omnichannel in his reach and expertise. His career, spanning over two decades, has included work in Ecommerce, traditional and digital marketing, brand management, product development and merchandising, database management and marketing, business intelligence and analytics, project management, sales, and account management. He has done work in and supervised teams responsible for SEM, SEO, email, affiliate marketing, social media, print media, public relations, conference and event planning, content production, creative, project management, and more.

His expertise involves developing breakthrough marketing ideas and crystallizing those ideas into viable business strategies. He has experience developing and executing strategies for organizations that range from start-ups to multibillion-dollar companies. Tim has handled budgets into the $10s of millions and has had P/L responsibility multiple times.

Executive roles have encompassed Ecommerce, marketing, sales, account management, IT, operations, and general management. He has managed teams over 30, negotiated partnerships and agreements, and handled vendor relationships of nearly every type.

Specific achievements of note include: aggressively targeting and growing online opportunities; exploring and championing social media engagement and content marketing; capitalizing on shifts to the mobile Internet; international Ecommerce coordination and expansion, work in both China and the UK on behalf of one company; and launching, re-launching, or re-platforming numerous Websites – one of which won the WebAward for “Best Shopping Experience.”

Timothy has been Vice President of Ecommerce for three merchants, and Director of Ecommerce for another. Additional roles include CMO, Vice President of Marketing, Senior Director of Marketing, Senior Director of Business Intelligence and Program Management, and Senior Director of Client Services. He has held management positions at major brands such as Macy's, Pottery Barn, and Guess, was involved at a senior level in two companies acquired by Merkle, and was Director of Business Development for an early Web start-up.
