Phil Black

I'm a Founding Partner of True Ventures. I serve on the Board of Automattic (WordPress), Kurtosys, Assistly, Inventables, Syncplicity and led our investment in about.me. 

Prior, I founded Blacksmith Capital, an early stage seed investment fund. I've also been a General Partner at ABS Ventures and Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners (now Lightspeed Ventures). 

I'm a product of Oklahoma, a Stanford alum, I love art, travel and have been known to consume a Burgundy or three.
