Founder of Transport Futures Institute (continuing professional development) and Your Next Act (coaching for technical professionals), owner of Hunt Eastwitch consulting and Professor of Transport at the University of Queensland. Also Director of Transport Roundtable Australasia, which runs Smart Urban Transport and Smart Traffic conferences.

I established the Transport Futures Institute to provide continuing professional development for transport professionals and have provided over fifty education and training courses over the past decade. As a professor I saw there were few opportunities for transport professionals to develop their knowledge and capabilities.

Your Next Act site is to help technical professionals (eg engineers) to be more successful in their careers and their life. This arose from my personal experience as a professional engineer progressing to a senior manager in government, then changing careers to become a consultant, and changing again to become an academic.

As an expert entrepreneur I have established businesses in education and training and providing technical and management consulting advice.

He has graduate and postgraduate qualifications in civil engineering (transport), business, public administration and education.
