Philip Cyburt

Philip Cyburt has over 25 years of experience as a key executive and business owner. Currently a Founding Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal, LLC, Mr. Cyburt has realized more than $10 billion in sales and revenues during his career as a corporate real estate developer and executive. He recently served as interim CEO of Lehman Brothers Holdings Real Estates, as part of Alvarez & Marsal's advisory role in the company's transitional process.

Philip Cyburt attended Chapman University in Orange, California, receiving his Bachelor's degree in 1986. He subsequently attended graduate school at Chapman University, as well as Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, and the investment real estate certificate program at the University of Irvine. Mr. Cyburt was Vice President for Lee & Associates Real Estate Brokerage from 1985 to 1987 and Director of Development for Tishman Realty and Construction, Inc., from 1987 to 1990.

In 1990 Philip Cyburt accepted the position of President of Boeing Realty Corporation (formerly McDonnell Douglas Realty Corporation), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company. During his 13 years at the company, he managed a real estate portfolio with $9 billion in assets spanning 63 countries around the globe. Mr. Cyburt was also the lead executive of McDonnell Douglas Finance Corporation during this period, overseeing the restructuring, service, or foreclosure on a $750 million commercial real estate loan portfolio.

Philip Cyburt co-founded Cyburt Hall Partners, LLC, in 2003. As Managing Partner for the Los Angeles-based real estate investment and advisory firm, he worked in numerous areas, including strategic planning, organizational development, corporate finance and restructuring. During his highly successful six-year tenure, Mr. Cyburt served as interim CEO of Real Estate for GenCorp, Inc., an aerospace and defense contractor.
