I am the founder of High Fidelity. Prior, I founded Second Life, Love Machine, Worklist and Coffee & Power.
I was born in San Diego, just before the Coronado bridge was built. I loved building things as a kid. My first computer was a Timex Sinclair 1000. I bought it junior high, for $20 at a swap meet. I also bought a vacuum cleaner there, but that's not important.
I attended UCSD and studied Physics. In 1994 I moved to San Francisco, got an office near the Caltrain station, and discovered the Internet. I also like boxing, electronics, automata and welding.
