• creating visualizations, scripting graphics, or constructing UI frameworks inside the W3C canvas
• web content development using JavaScript exclusively inside the W3C canvas (or using SVG)
• server-side JavaScript (including NodeJS)
• desktop-style JavaScript programming for the web (examples: ExtJS, Sencha Touch)
• touch or mobile development
