Phil Temples was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana, but he's lived and played in greater Boston, Massachusetts for nearly five decades. His professional career spanned the fields of software engineering and computer systems administration. He recently retired from Boston College.

Phil writes. He's published six mystery-thriller novels, a novella, and seven story anthologies in addition to over 260 online short stories online. He is a member of the Bagel Bards. In addition to his writing activities, Phil is a ham radio aficionado, and a singer in a garage band.
