More and more young students are asp ring for job with high salary. The recession of 2008 gave big lessons the American society.The last recession that the society was in 1929 were millions of jobs were lost. The same happened in 2008.

Even the richest were affected by the down turn of the economy. Businesses were shut down, jobs were lost, families were broken, students dropped out of colleges and so on. Young students learnt that its very important for the m to join a profession which not only gives them good salary but also job security.

There was only one sector in entire economy which was not affected by the recession and that was the physical therapy industry. This physical therapy sector is a part of health care industry and produces lots of jobs ever year. Instead of cutting off the jobs, more physical therapy assistant jobs were produced.

The pta salary is highest when compared to other health care professions and is around $38,000 per annum. This is very good return of investment as one only needs to spend 2 years in college and spend around $8000 for the 2 year program. The costs includes all the expenditures of books, lab coats, living,etc. As one starts doing his job , the experience and expertise have direct affect on the salary of the physical therapy assistant.

After 2 years the salary increase to 40,000 dollars per annum and after 5 year the salary of around $45,000 per annum. An individual who had spent around 10 years in physical therapy assistant profession, can easily earn $50,000 per annum. This is very high if we take the number of years it required to achieve and money spent in education during college. After 20 years, salary increase to $65,000 annually.
