Piernicola Di Muro has been studying music and filmmaking all his life. He started studying and playing piano and drums at age ten.

He has been working as an arranger and composer since he was just 20 years old, creating his long standing relationship with computer-aided music production. Over the years Piernicola has broadened his horizons through different music genres, ranging from electronic to orchestral, and film scoring, which has become his primary occupation.

He has composed several original scores for documentaries, commercials, short films and feature movies for both Italian and foreign production companies and directors.

He composed the original score for the independent feature film Dead in the Water by Marc Buhmann and Silk Trees by Jed Burdick. He also created additional music for the Turkish/American production For Love and Honour.

He scored the short film Project Kronos directed by Hasraf Dulull (Fubar). He has also scored several commercials and feature films in Italy. Recent projects include A Little Story and The Love is Not Enough by Stefano Chiantini.

Piernicola is currently working on two major Italian primetime tv series “Tutti pazzi per amore” (There's Something About Love) and Una Grande Famiglia (The Big Family)
