Pieter Bergstein

A native of Holland, oil industry executive Pieter Bergstein has owned and operated companies in the United States since 1981. He attended university in Switzerland, where he earned a bachelor of arts in international business from the American College of Switzerland and a master of science in economics from Webster University - Geneva. Following a successful early career in finance, Pieter Bergstein entered the oil industry as a hot oil truck operator, which experience he rapidly leveraged to purchase a truck and subsequently founded his own oil service company.

Since that time, Pieter Bergstein has established a number of related companies including Bergstein Environmental Services. This spill cleanup company contributed to a number of major efforts, including post-incident recovery in Alaska and Saudi Arabia. Now owner and CEO of Bergstein Services, he operates one of the largest oil service fleet in the United States and one of the largest service companies in its category across Eastern New Mexico and West Texas. He also maintains interests in real estate, management, and oil waste disposal.
