PINAR GÖKTAŞ

Pınar Göktaş was born in Samsun, Turkey on June 22, 1987. She attended Samsun Municipality Conservatory and acted in school plays in high school. After highschool, she moved to Istanbul to launch her professional career alongside her studies at Istanbul Technical University in Geodesy & Photogrammetry Engineering. During university studies, she attended Kenter Theater Acamedy and Pera Fine Art Acting Programme. She also started taking roles in TV commercials and TV shows. After graduation from ITU she attended Theatre Master Programme at Halic University in Istanbul.

In 2012 Pınar Göktaş and Cihan Sağlam established their own theatre company called “The Club”. She has written and directed plays, and also acted. She is following Eric Morris acting technique for two years,and she is also interested in physical theatre. She practices Kundalini Yoga actively.
Recently she acted in Ricci Forte`s play “Macadamia Nut Brittle” for New Text New Theatre Festival in Istanbul. At the moment she is doing rehersals with Denise Teipel for her performance “The Story Of A Girl” which is planned to be staged in Vienna, London and in Istanbul.
