My name is Cassie and I am a college student in Washington. I am originally from Dallas, Texas and I come from a family of amazing cooks. I have been blessed enough to be surrounded by a large and loving family and a great group of friends who have all supported me in everything that I have done!

At some point this year (most likely after I forgot to put sugar in the cake for my friend's birthday) it hit me – cooking isn’t a natural gift that I have been blessed with, and if I don’t practice, I definitely won’t get better. This realization spurred my desire to begin cooking and trying new recipes in order to hone my skills. That amongst other reasons, is why I chose to create Pinteresting Cooking. I wanted to share my adventures in cooking and rating the most popular Pinterest recipes around in order to make your lives easier! I figure that this way, you won't have to TRY every recipe to see if it's good, now you will KNOW it's good!
