icky lee jones

Icky Lee Jones is the moniker for 32 year old singer/songwriter/recording artist, Mark Freifeld, who takes refuge in the blues and rock n' roll. (See wordpress blog for further explanation on the name - ickyleejones.

Previously from 2005 to early 2013, Mark performed/recorded under the name Pirate Prude. This was the ep debut title for the band Helium's 1994 release.

Although Mark is still playing songs that are relevant to the Pirate Prude back catalog, new icky lee originals will soon surface later in the year.

Up at the top of the page you will notice new music! Mark recently recorded/mixed a set of 5 songs, two of which are Pirate Prude originals (Adonis of Colorado and St Vincent). The other 3 are covers from Nina Nastasia, Aimee Mann, and the Pixies.
