René Pirker

Hi everyone,

I was born in 1987 in the green heart of Austria, Styria. Living in Carinthia, Radenthein studying Information Technology at the Alpe-Adria University in Klagenfurt and working for Infineon in the department of Lithography right now. I have finished my bachelor studies in early April 2013 with my thesis "Kerf Data Checker - A Tool to improve the Process of Kerf Generation and Mask Layout" at the department of lithography at Infineon Austria, Villach. My contract there has been extended till June 2015.

I started photography in 2006 with my first digicam the Canon PowerShot S80 which was with me all the time for many years till she passed away at a concert in 2010. This was the year when I decided to get me the Canon EOS 60D.

Some of my images were part of the exhibition in Austria on Oct. 1st, 2011 at "The Long Night of Musea" in Klagenfurt at the Mozarthof and some more in 2012 from May 22nd till June 16th at the art festival called Gemmakunstschaun in Villach at the Infineon Art Space and the KunsthausSudhaus.

I am associated to nature a lot so I basically do landscape and macro but also some kind of art to try what's possible. I publish my images on www.flickr.com/rene_p.
