Hello,

I am a researcher (at the IIASA), currently working on a project that aims to discern catalysts for societal transformations towards sustainability.

I have a masters degree in Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy (SEEP) from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) and a bachelors degree in Electronics Enginnering from the University of Mumbai. I also have a work experience in software development (SAP ABAP).

I am driven by a need to make meaningful contributions at this crucial juncture when our collective actions are likely to have a longer term impact on the trajectories of sentient life.

My masters thesis was on the evolution of technology with a case study of space technologies (full version available here or check out this informal summary). I used meta-frameworks of critical realism and evolutionary sciences for my synthesis that underscores exigency of paradigmatic shifts in the anthropic operating systems at the multiple levels.

I am interested in further collaborative research and practical work in these domains involving philosophy, technological change, social paradigm shifts, complex adaptive systems, global catastrophic risks, and space technologies.

On a more personal / philosophical note:

i contain multitudes

I feel sublime gratitude for the interdependent state of 'being'. This existential meaning-making dynamic leads me to 'grace' (~desire to make positive contributions) while social struggles drag me to pity.

I strive to cultivate third-person perspectives towards the self and try to see things from others' perspectives. But sometimes i am that kid doing silly things and in need of nurture.

I find consolations in nature, astronomy, music, and books. I have been living in Vienna since 2017. I grew up in a town called Pen (near Mumbai, India).

I am prone to "overthinking"... so I try not to take myself too seriously whilst dancing with seemingly contradictory and fractal complexities of life, the universe, and everything :)
