I am a third year doctoral student in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Curriculum and Supervision at Penn State University. I am the Assistant Director for Exploring Directions in Ubiquitous Computing and Teacher Education (EDUCATE), a teaching and technology initiative in the College of Education. I work with teacher candidates, inservice teachers, and teacher educators on integrating technology for meaningful teaching and learning. I am also a Holmes Scholar with the American Association for Colleges of Teacher Education as well as a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.

My current research interests center around the meaningful use and creation with emerging technologies. More specifically, design frameworks for teaching with technology and the design of teacher education programs in light of digital innovation.
