I teach at several colleges and universities in the Washington-Baltimore area. My primary teaching position is at Montgomery College. I frequently lecture for the undergraduate and graduate IT programs at my Alma mater, Johns Hopkins University.

I have incorporated cutting-edge technologies to deliver instruction material, including online instruction, video tutorials, and digital/virtual exercises. Students who have attended my classes have excelled in their area of study and have secured jobs.

I am involved with several international and national standards organizations. I invented and patented geospatial technologies that are standards for SMPTE and the IETF.
