Children aged eight to eighteen participate in Provo Canyon School programs to tackle behavioral health and mental health challenges that are affecting their daily lives. Provo Canyon School has two large campuses in Springville and Provo, Utah, both of which are managed by professional and qualified clinical and medical staff, including nurses and psychiatrists. Several state and federal organizations in the United States recognize the school as an intensive psychiatric residential treatment facility with innovative and patient-focused models of care.
There are three separate programs available at Provo Canyon School, available for boys and girls at pre-adolescent and adolescent stages of development. The programs offer both short-term stabilization and long-term residency; they focus on issues requiring intensive treatment, including substance abuse, attention deficit disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, and trauma. Through a wide range of environmental and therapeutic treatments and speciality groups, participants are exposed to an environment that facilitates trust, generates positivity, and inspires success.
