Won a James Beard food journalism award for stories in Edible Brooklyn in 2010; was included in the book 2010 Best Food Writing.

Edited The Edible Brooklyn cookbook (Sterling, 2011), a collection of recipes from those profiled in the magazine, and co-authored the baking cookbook Handheld Pies (Chronicle, 2011).

Write, host and co-produce a weekly food segment for NY1, a local cable news station in New York City.
