Raffaele Piu serves as managing director with CapRok Capital and BedRok Securities in Rye, New York. A capital markets professional, Raffaele Piu has worked in the financial securities industry since 1997. He holds Series 7, Series 3, and Series 63 securities licenses through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
At CapRok Capital, Raffaele Piu manages sales and trading of institutional mortgage-backed and structured product securities. Working with institutional clients, he advises and assists them on liquidity-based solutions to investment portfolio needs and identifies investment opportunities for clients, focusing particularly on structured credit, real estate, and corporate credit issues. In addition, he oversees valuation services, the raising of capital, and trade executions through the firm’s broker-dealer subsidiary, BedRok Securities, LLC. Mr. Piu has been with CapRok Capital since 2009.
Prior to joining CapRok Capital, Mr. Piu served as a managing director with RBS Greenwich Capital in Connecticut, from 1997 to 2009. During his 12-year tenure with the firm, he directed sales and trading of structured credit products with a focus on institutional fixed income.
Mr. Piu holds a bachelor of science in both finance and marketing from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven.
