Raj has been working in the Information Technology with special focus in the areas of Java development for over 10 years. Since the time he started his career as a java developer has experience has spanned several industries including ERP, EIP, Manufacturing, Healthcare.He worked in many area of software development like designing, development, testing and quality. He have passion to work in environment of Scrum+XP, agile development, clear code and TDD.

He is very passionate about the Java technology. He first started his carrier with VC++ and moved to Java, since then he never turned back to any other technology. He is very interested in Java User Group activities, Jave events, JEE, JavaFX, JVM Languages (mainly Groovy, Scala, and Visage), NetBeans, OSGI, Maven and Gradle,

Over the years due to his passion in Java drives him to start his a Java User Group in Chennai called JUGChennai. He started it on Sep. 2010, since then he was part of all of the UG events and participated Oracle UG Leaders Meet in Shanghai,Hongkong and San Francisco. He also part of many new event launch in JUGChennai like Chennai Java Summit & JTechDay, Expert sessions and CodeGala. He also initiated Students awareness program and gave talk on Java and Community in Colleges around Chennai.
