I am a Deployment Consultant in the Midwest Region. I started my career with McDonald’s at the age of 15 in Syracuse, NY as a crew person working my way up to Swing Manager. I left McDonald’s in 1992 to serve in the US Army as an Airborne Ranger for 5 years I then attended Military Police School and changed my career path to become a Military Police Officer for the next 12 years, during that time I had numerous deployments to 5 continents and various positions and duties from Protective Services of President William Jefferson Clinton with the Secret Service, Covert Undercover work in conjunction with the DEA and Arizona State Gang Taskforce, tandem operations with various International , Federal and Local law enforcement agencies (FBI, INTORPOL, CIA, NSA, DIA, CID, Customs, Border Patrol and ICE) also Joint Military Operations in peace time with the United Nations and during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I rejoined McDonald’s in 2007 as a swing manager with the same Owner/Operator and worked my way through the ranks from Swing Manager, Certified Manager, 1st Assistant, General Manager, Area Supervisor and Director of Operations of Nine Restaurants. I started my career January of 2013 with McOpCo being hired as an Accelerated Operations Candidate the first in the Midwest Region. I began as a Co-general Manager in a McOpCo restaurant I was then promoted to Operations Consultant for McOpCo after 6 months I was promoted again to the position of Business Consultant. I was selected by the Midwest Region QSC VP for my current role as a Deployment Consultant. The expertise and leadership skills I developed in the Army lead me to several great opportunities within McDonald’s. I believe it offered me the best of everything from professional development, officer potential, franchisee potential, career security, awesome benefits, competitive pay and comradery. Many other companies’ offers did not compare. McDonald’s is similar to the Military in many areas i.e.; structure, team work and top notch leaders. I am married and have 1 son and 4 daughters my hobbies are competitive marksmanship, Mixed Martial Arts and traveling. I am a member of the Leadership Team in McDonald’s newest Employee Recourse Group, (VERG) Veterans Employee Resource Group.
