I am a Senior Marketing and Communications Professional currently living in New York. You can also call me the Bow Tie Genius or the Nerdy Marketer.

Although currently I'm looking to find the ideal opportunity to advance my career, I continue to consult with smaller businesses and volunteer with nonprofits in an approach I refer to as "the intersection of downtown ideas and uptown budgets." This is concept I promote to offer the same creative marketing ideas developed and paid for by large enterprise(1000+ employees)company at affordable rates for small to medium enterprise businesses and nonprofits..

Most recently, I directed the Marketing team at a leading New York Medical and Health books publisher integrating technology methods like marketing automation to increase sales. Prior to that, I successfully created and executed cohesive marketing and social media campaigns at Hyperion Books for bestselling Disney/ABC, ESPN, and Marvel books and content. My employment history is built in part on a strong publishing background having started my career at Little, Brown and Company, the preeminent publisher of literary fiction. I have worked with the finest literary minds and highest skilled sales teams. My understanding of the marketing and sales relationship, along with an ability to create strategic, innovative, and well-coordinated promotions has contributed to the delivery of many bestselling books and record sales.

My creative background is complemented by years of experience working in financial services and real estate. Serving as the voice for senior executives in these communities necessitates that I be able to translate complex data into understandable and digestible information for the public. I am a problem-solver at heart and often hear that I appear amazingly calm in chaotic situations. Perhaps my quick wit and sophisticated style help to round out my sometimes quirky personality.

I guess you could say that I have “Country Boy Charm with Big City Swag.” My passions outside of work include college football (Go Tigers!), politics, food, and travel.
