Randy has been a freelance celebrity journalist for more than 18 years, writing for several national and international magazines. He has also branched out into screenwriting and is a writing coach at his Writers Studio in Utah. -Writers Studio staff Randy Jernigan has been covering the comings and goings of the rich and famous for more than a decade as a celebrity journalist and features writer. Randy has freelanced for some of the entertainment industries most widely read magazines including The Star Magazine, In Touch Weekly, Life and Style Weekly, People, USA Today, London's Daily Mail, The Chicago Tribune, and the list goes on and on. Randy has also produced and scripted for some of television's most popular news programs including 48 Hours, 20/20, Paramount's Hardcopy, and Warner Bro's Extra. From 1996 to 1998 Randy hosted a syndicated radio talk show through 25 major U.S. markets featuring writers, film makers, and musical artists. Today Randy continues his freelance features writing and has published a collection of short stories titled, "This Thing Called Love," published by Writers Club Press Inc. Randy has also published a new diet cookbook titled "Losing To Win!" which contains his dramatic weight-loss story of how he lost 158 lbs. and in the book shares the tips and recipes that helped him do it. Randy has 3 more books scheduled for release in 2014 under his Creative Partners Publishing contract. Randy is the founder and director of The Writers' Studio of Utah, an organization that educates, develops, and promotes the talents of writers.
