Dr. Randy David Hassen
Dr. Randy David Hassen acts as Music Manager for his eponymously named firm, d.b.a. Doc&Diddy Productions. At the Chicago-based company, Hassen discovers and promotes musical acts, produces their work, and handles marketing, promotions, and venue selection efforts. In these roles, under the Department of Environment's Greencorps Chicago Workforce Development Program, he held responsibility for assessing people's progression through the program, which involved conducting therapy and counseling sessions and working with clients to address needed behavioral and social changes. In addition, he created and implemented strategies to make improvements in the areas of career preparedness, skills training, placement, and more. As such, Dr. Randy David Hassen also developed relationships with business leaders, social service agencies, and community groups.
Dr. Randy David Hassen acted as Addictions Counselor and Supervisor for Hazelden in Chicago. He also fulfilled the duties of Case Manager and Health Access Specialist for Saint Francis Hospital's level one trauma center, roles that required him to streamline the patient admissions process by assessing their level of need and the extent of their illness. He possesses considerable experience in hospital settings; he served as Attending Internist for Connecticut facilities such as Veteran's Memorial Medical Center and Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Randy David Hassen completed his undergraduate education at Knox College, where he studied biology. He obtained his MD from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara Medical School. After moving back to the United States, he fulfilled his internship and residency requirements at Masonic Medical Center. Recognized for his talents in medicine, he held the post of Chief Resident during his final year there.
