I am a senior-level ColdFusion developer with experience in both the public and the private sector. I have worked for corporations, private businesses, and entrepreneurial companies. I can see projects from many viewpoints and with empathy because I have served in most positions of IT, including operator, programmer, designer, database, server admin, CIO, President, and CEO. I have worked with internal support, customer support, programming, management, sales, and more in many different industries, such as retail, medical, hospital, manufacturing, restaurant, and real estate.

I have been in the computer software business for 37 years. For over twelve years, I have been developing public-facing web projects and was involved in the entire life cycle of all projects, including securing the customer, customer meetings, project scheduling, project team management, functional specifications, programming, database architecture and technical specifications, customer status reporting, site design, and implementation. I am particularly adept at automating processes to increase company ROI.

Additionally, I am educated, with an MBA and a BSBA, intelligent (MENSA), and well-rounded in my home and family life. Due in part to communication skills honed through Toastmasters, my plethora of experience, and my ability to use the language the target audience understands, I have won large contracts with private companies and public agencies, and have seen those contracts renewed repeatedly. I have also enjoyed many years managing teams of computer programmers and customer support personnel beginning in 1986 at Honeywell Corporation. No opportunity is too big or too small for me.

I am open to travel and short-term, off-site placement. I know that I can help your company succeed. I have a complete home office that allows me to work off-site, and I am conveniently located near the Twin Cities in Hudson, WI if you require me to be on-site.
