Rashik is the BCS Group CEO, responsible for realising their mission to make IT good for society. He is focused on inspiring the programmes that his colleagues, BCS members and partners are delivering the BCS strategy. He specialises in inspiring the best in his teams and creating compelling whilst realistic visions of what is possible. Drawing on thirty-nine years of deep technical experience in IBM coupled with an engaging story telling capability makes him a much sought-after speaker on all aspects of digitisation Some of his work is summarised in the HBR Article he co-authored - “New Patterns for Innovation” – Jan-Feb 2014. He pioneered the OMG Responsible Computing framework that distils the best practices for contemporary IT professionals.

Rashik has a portfolio of non-executive director roles including Chairing the Board of Trustees for We are IVE, member of the NERC Council, Fellow of the Digit Lab, Member of the Open University Council and member of the Rangoli Radio board.

Rashik was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) as part of the HRH Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday honours for his contribution to business and innovation.
