Amanda is a Master of Science and Master of Business Administration Dual-Degree graduate of the Paul F. Harron Graduate Program in Television Management at Drexel University. Her thesis is titled "'Look at the Bigger Picture' - An Analysis of Netflix's Business Model and Strategy from CEO Reed Hastings' Long-Term View". The thesis and graduate program were completed in the Summer of 2014. She graduated from Temple University having majored in Film & Media Arts (concentration in production) and minored in Business in Spring 2011.
Amanda is currently in pursuit of a management or executive position in television production operations and analysis for a broadcast, cable, or online/streaming network in the United States or Canada.
She specializes in film and television development and production and has over 5 years of on-set experience. She is currently located in the Greater Philadelphia Area but is willing to relocate throughout the United States and Canada. Her most recent major position was as an extras casting coordinator and background wrangler on Tommy Oliver's independent feature film 1982, which screened at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. Amanda is currently developing her first television project, a scripted single-camera comedy series for diverse, third-culture audiences.
Her short film, Disclosure, which originated in Temple University's Senior Projects program is completed and available online. She has previously worked as a producer on Dave Sarrafian's I Quit, which screened at the Philadelphia QFEST and Seattle Three Dollar Bill Cinema in 2009, and as a production assistant on Alex Pires' Mayor Cupcake, which is airing on Showtime Family and available on DVD. Amanda has also worked on television projects including NBC's The Firm and History Network Canada's Pawnathon. Her work has also taken her to assist with coverage of the 2012 and 2011 Toronto International Film Festival with the Canadian program Out There With Melissa DiMarco.
Amanda has studied improvisation at the Second City Training Centre in Toronto since 2009 and completed The Improvisation Program in 2011. She is also certified in stage combat: single sword, smallsword, and rapier/dagger under the Society of American Fight Directors.
She is an alumni sister of Lambda Tau Omega Sorority, Inc., Temple University Nezwaly Rho Chapter.
