Instructional Design, Scout Leader, and Volunteer in Huntsville, Texas
I lead a team of instructional designers helping deliver online courses at Sam Houston State University and other institutions across the Texas State University System. I have 28 years of experience implementing technology in instructional settings, and have a B.S. in Computer Science and a M.Ed. in Instructional Systems Design and Technology.
I am a lifelong Texan; born in Houston, raised in Bay City, a few years in Aggieland (College Station), and have been in Huntsville since early 1996. I currently live on 11 acres with some kids in the house and others stretching their wings. Pets include a dog, several cats, and a fluctuating number of fish in the tanks and poultry in the coop. We have a garden by the barn and a variety of wildlife.
I keep myself busy with volunteer and outdoor activities, including helping with the Scouting units my kids are in and serving local charities in various capacities. I am a classical liberal/libertarian at heart.
