As I describe myself on Twitter, I'm a, "Christian, Conservative, Texan, Entrepreneur, Politico. Sigma Chi, Singer/Song-writer, Cigar/Fly-fishing/2nd Amdmt Fan."

I grew up on a ranch near Stephenville, TX with my parents, two brothers and a bunch of random animals. When I wasn't doing chores or going to school I stayed busy playing music, competing in shooting leagues or running some sort of entrepreneurial venture.

After High-School, I left Texas to attend Hillsdale College, a bastion of conservatism in the heart of America's dying rust-belt. During my time there I studied Austrian Economics, Natural Rights based Political Science, joined the Sigma Chi fraternity and made some of the best friends a man can have.

When my time at Hillsdale ended I joined American Majority to help start the Texas office. Over ensuing three years I served as North Texas Field Representative, Dept. Director of New Media and the Texas Executive Director for AM and American Majority Action.

I have since served as the Political Director for the Madison Action Fund, the Deputy Director for the Madison Project and provide social media support and consulting for Media Trackers.

Following U.S. Senator Ted Cruz's election in 2012, he asked me to join his staff as a Regional Director. I served in that capacity through February 2014.

I married my bride, Jennie, in January of 2012 and we have two dogs, a great dane named Shiner and a dachshund named Jax.
