My work explores environmental legacy--what we pass from one generation to the next.

I hold a PhD in environmental sociology, and serve on the Board of Directors of the Science and Environmental Health Network. Although not actively teaching now, I have lectured in Community Health at Tufts University (2009-2012). I am interested in plastics, persistent pollutants, the history of organic chemistry and the chemical industry, biomonitoring, environmental legacy and body burden.
