After a little over three years working as 50% of a communications office for a province of Franciscan friars, I uprooted my life for the ... well, I've lost count how many times at this point ... to try my hand at social media (among other things) for the future CPAs of this world. I love it when organizations and businesses use social media well. It breaks my heart a little to see it used poorly.

Before relocating to Durham, N.C., I lived in Astoria, Ohio, South Dakota, Arkansas and Western New York. I consider myself a southern girl at heart, so I suppose I've finally come home again. Now, if only I could get used to it and stop missing the Big Apple so much.
