R. E. Bradshaw
On the other side of where my life used to be.
R. E. Bradshaw, a native of North Carolina and a proud Tar Heel, now makes her home in Oklahoma with her wife of 25 years. She is the proud mother of Jon, a very fine young man raised by lesbians. (Authors note: "Bite me, Family Research Council.") Holding a Master of Performing Arts degree, Bradshaw worked in professional theatre and taught University and High School classes, leaving both teaching and the stage to write full-time in 2010. The Rainey Season follows Rainey Nights, 2012 Lambda Literary Award Finalist in Mystery, as a finalist in 2014. Bradshaw is also a 2013 Lammy Finalist with the mystery, Molly: House on Fire. Out on the Panhandle was declared 1st Runner-Up for the Rainbow Awards Lesbian Novel of the Year in 2013.
