Rechelle Rumawas

Rechelle is currently an undergraduate student in International Relations at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia. Her interest is mainly on the global information network power and language visualization as political communication means.
During her study at UI, she was involved in extracurricular activities such as National Meeting of Indonesian International Relations Student (PNMHII XXV) and Indonesia Model United Nations (IndonesiaMUN) 2013. In both projects, she was in charge for managing the social events mainly ceremonies and diplomatic dinner. She is currently preparing ASEAN Youth Tourism Festival 2014 with Penjamah Indonesia. The event is under the supervision of Ministry of Youth and Sport of Republic Indonesia and ASEAN Secretariat.
Outside campus, she’s pursuing classical ballet since 1997. Throughout her life, she has consistently identify herself as a dancer and a fond reader. And it comes with bonuses. By dancing, she learns to communicate via emotions and visualizations. And by reading, she learns to communicate via imaginations and languages. She is intrigued to learn so much about how different approach can create different messages and meanings.
