Innovative high school librarian and public library trustee - NJASL SLMS of the Year, NJASL/ISTE Making IT Happen Award, SHS Teacher of the Year

Renee has re-imagined and re-energized every aspect of the school library media center, from the instructional program to the physical space. With the help and support of the entire school community, the library has become a vibrant center for learning and collaboration across the curriculum. Renee is a vocal advocate for her students and faculty, and works closely with the administration and the technology department to expand and improve access to educational technology. In the words of her principal, "She challenges the status quo and looks to advance the thinking of the entire organization."
